The Linktype can be set to either
- Partner-ads links
- Internal Links – Non Cloacked
- Internal Links – Cloacked
Partner-ads links
If you choose to use the Partner-ads links, then alle your links will be exposed with the direct link to partner-ads like this.
https://www.partner-ads.com/dk/klikbanner.php?bannerid=xxxxx&partnerid=xxxxx&uid=&uid2=&htmlurl=
This is is not recommended as it exposes the partner-ads link directly, but on some cases its a good idea.
If you use other tools that expect this type of link to work. Then remember to add the “Serve Clean Partner-ads Affiliate links” under advanced if you need to get Rexultz specific data to be removed.
Note: When you use the Partner-ads link type, then the Internal Link Path is irrelevant.
Internal Links – Non Cloacked – recommended
Using this link type, will create an internal link which redirects to the partner-ads link, but shows the user an internal link as well as search engines.
A link will look like this.
https://yourdomain.com/link/2845845/https://www.partner-ads.com/dk/klikbanner.php?bannerid=xxxx&partnerid=xxxx&uid=&uid2=htmlurl=
The Internal Link Path is the /link/ portion of the url. you choose what this should be
Internal Links – Cloacked
If you wish to hide the link all togehter then use the cloacked link type.
